TREE planting
At Strobert Tree Services, we understand the importance of planting trees and shrubs.

Weeping Willow (Latin Name: Salix babylonica)
It is important to keep in mind that willows seek out water, so we do not recommend putting them near water lines, pools or septic systems.

White Oak (Latin Name: Quercus alba)
White oaks produce rich brown acorns that fall in early October and can attract wildlife such as birds and squirrels. Due to its large size (60 to100 feet tall) be sure not to plant near paved areas or too close to your home. The white oak makes an outstanding shade tree, with an exceptionally long lifespan.

Green Giant Arborvitae (Latin Name: Thuja Plicata)
Green giant arborvitae are very hardy and they produce a rich green color. They are resistant to pests, diseases and even deer. They do well in a variety of soil types and require little to no pruning. Sizes at maturity can range from 30 to 60 feet high with a 12 to 20 foot spread.
The green giant arborvitae can be appealing not only as a single specimen tree, but also work well as a natural privacy screen for your home.

Japanese Maple 'Bloodgood' (Latin Name: Acer Palmatum 'Bloodgood')
Japanese maples are not typically susceptible to insects or disease, but can easily break during high winds. They benefit greatly from regular pruning and annual fertilization visits.
