As a homeowner, there’s always something that needs doing and issues to manage. And whether you realize it or not, taking care of your trees should definitely be on that list.

There’s the obvious concern for a dead or diseased tree coming down in a storm and landing on your house (or car or boat or, maybe worse, your neighbor’s car or boat). But another reason is that numerous studies have shown that landscaped properties that include mature trees can increase a property’s value by up to 10 percent. Contracting with a tree service company not only protects your property today (while also creating a more beautiful environment to live in), but it’s also an investment in the long-term value of your home.

If you live in Delaware County, Pennsylvania—whether in West Chester. Kenneth Square, Chester, 19026 Drexel Hill, Upper Darby, Haverford, Radnor, Springfield, Yeadon, Broomall, Ardmore, Villanova, 19342 Glen Mills, 19063 Media, 19081 Swarthmore, 19015 Brookhaven/Upland, 19073 Newtown TWP or anywhere in between— Strobert Tree Services Inc. is here to provide the tree removalstump grindingpruning, and plant health care services you need for your business or residential.

There’s a whole range of things we can do to help you better manage your tree lot and beautify your property.

At Strobert Tree, we can handle any big job you might have, like taking down a tree that’s obviously in distress and posing a danger. No tree is too big for us. We have the specialized equipment and experienced, a serious crew that can safely and efficiently bring down 75-foot hardwood tree that might weigh up to 20,000 pounds.

Our work will include taking the tree to the ground, cutting it into log lengths, and getting rid of it—unless you want to keep it for firewood. We’ll also end up leaving you with a nice pile of wood chips for mulching if that’s an option you’d like (or will take everything away if that’s what you choose).

An optional part of removing a tree is getting rid of the stump by grinding it (the less messy way) or full removal (a bigger job). Quite often people who don’t choose this option to regret it later after pests have taken up residence and/or the novelty of mowing around it has worn off. We can also remove an old stump on your property that someone else left behind years ago.

If you have a tree in distress from disease or invasive insects, then it might be worth checking up on the rest of your trees—even if they appear healthy. Our on-staff arborists can examine your lot and let you know if any may need to be dealt with.

And part of tree care includes trimming. This can make major jobs down the line—or accidents—less likely, since the judicial cutting of limbs can not only increase a tree’s health but also lessen the possibility of damage when falling in a storm. Even if the whole tree doesn’t come down, a major limb that overhangs a section of a house or an area where something valuable is stored—hey, that’s a nice boat, shame if something bad happened to it—can be a nightmare scenario.

Likewise, pruning—especially if you have fruit trees that you’d like to harvest from—should be part of any property maintenance master plan. There’s nothing quite like being able to walk out your door and pick apples, pears, peaches, or cherries. The full range of sustainability services we provide—deep root tree fertilization, air spading, integrated pest management (IPM), soil testing, and corrective pruning—will increase the bounty of any fruit trees you have.

Our services include other big jobs, whether those beyond the weekend do-it-yourselfer or those needed by commercial developers, like logging lots and clearing parcels and we have the equipment to do it.

If you need our services in Pennsylvania’s Delaware County—or the state of Delaware, northern Maryland, or southern New Jersey—please get in touch and see what we can do for you.
